Today Karen, the girls, and I went to the pumpkin patch at Turkey Creek Ranch. It is a ranch run by the MWR. There is all kinds of things to do out there from hiking to trail rides there are multiple places for parties and weddings, it is a pretty cool ranch. Anyhow, we got there about 1/2 an hour before our scheduled hayride so the girls played at the playground and we checked out some of the buildings on the ranch. There was a jail, bank, and a saloon to name a few. When our wagon arrived we rode on it for about 5 minutes before we got to the maze. We had to navigate the maze and at the end was the pumpkin patch. Presley was our navigator and she got us through with no problems. Once through the maze we all picked out a pumpkin. Mine was a short fat guy, Karen's was tall and skinny, and the girls' was just their size. There was one of those bounce house so the girls played in there till our wagon came and got us. The ride back was about 20 minutes. We took the scenic route through part of the ranch. When we got back to the parking lot area the girls decided to ride one of the horse so we did that before we left. It was a great day and the weather was gorgeous. It had not been this nice out in a few weeks so it was great. So here are a few pictures from the day.
It all began in a college calculus class, then there where those unproductive golf lessons. A year and a half of dating with many months of that separated. A short engagement and an even shorter honeymoon. But in there somewhere was the best day of our lives, our wedding.

Connor Augustus
Connor Augustus was born on the 27th of December at 4:43pm. He was 6 pounds 10 ounces and was 20 inches long. He decided he want to see the world 3 weeks early. Connor's expected due date was the 17th of January. At least he waited (like I told him he had to) for his dad to come home from his deployment. I was not specific on how long he had to wait because he came 3 hours after Larry got home. I guess he wanted to be a welcome home present and he was the best one.
