FYI don't wait till 5 days before Christmas to go by a tree...the parents got in on Sunday Dec. 20th and that evening we went to get a tree. Needless to say there was not a lot out there. We did finally find one. He is small but very cute. Since he is so small some of my ornaments could not be put on because they are too heavy but he still looks pretty darn cute all decorated.
Last night a group of us braved the cold and went downtown to watch the light parade. We froze our butts off but it was a lot of fun and the kids enjoyed it. Here are some pictures from the parade.
Larry this post is just for you...here are a few pictures of Maggie in her new coat and collar. She looks adorable and I am not turning her into a sissy. She is my only girl so I am allowed to put her in pink.
For Thanksgiving since the men are away a few of the wives from the team got together. Joann and Karen cooked enough food to feed the whole team though so we had a lot of leftovers. We had a great time...we ate, we visited, the kids got to play, and we planned our Black Friday extravaganza. Yes, I said it we actually went out on Black Friday. It was my first time ever and it will probably be my last. Well, here are a few pictures of all the food.
It all began in a college calculus class, then there where those unproductive golf lessons. A year and a half of dating with many months of that separated. A short engagement and an even shorter honeymoon. But in there somewhere was the best day of our lives, our wedding.

Connor Augustus
Connor Augustus was born on the 27th of December at 4:43pm. He was 6 pounds 10 ounces and was 20 inches long. He decided he want to see the world 3 weeks early. Connor's expected due date was the 17th of January. At least he waited (like I told him he had to) for his dad to come home from his deployment. I was not specific on how long he had to wait because he came 3 hours after Larry got home. I guess he wanted to be a welcome home present and he was the best one.
