Irish/Scottish Highland Festival

Shauna and I braved the overcast sky and went to the Highland Festival in Estes Park. Estes Park is up in the mountain so it was chilly but when it started to rain it got cold. We actually felt like we where in Ireland or Scotland with the weather. Nevertheless we had fun and enjoyed ourselves. She bought a couple really pretty rings and a pair of earrings. I got a ring and a new barrel or slider for my necklace. We also got scarfs that are 100% Cashmere, they kept us warm. We watched some of the games before it started to rain and got to see the bagpipers too. So here are a few picture I took while there. Enjoy!!

Also while we where there we got to see a large group of elk. No joke we where like 15 feet away from them. There was probably about 40 or so. One 6x7 bull elk, 20-25 females and a bunch of babies. Check out these pictures!!

IT'S A BOY

As you can tell by the title of the blog, I had my ultrasound today and found out it was a boy. Of course the tech is not going to guarantee anything but from what he could tell it was a boy. The baby is growing (all his measurements came out to 21 weeks 4 days which is what they say I am) even though I am not. If you haven't heard I am not gaining weight so the OB has me going to a nutritionist. I have my next OB and nutrition appointment on Tuesday 9/15. Anyhow here are a few new ultrasound pictures for you to enjoy.

Mud Race and Rodney Atkins Concert

So the last couple of weekends have been pretty busy. Last weekend I spent 9 hours in the hot sun watching trucks play in the mud. Okay, it actually was a lot of fun. I went with Shauna to watch her boyfriend, Brian, race. When the race was all done and over with Brian won first place in his class. Here are a few pictures form the race.

Just a cool pick of the flagger getting covered in mud

This weekend or should I say last night we went to the state fair to watch the rodeo and the Rodney Atkins ( a country singer for those who don't know) concert after the rodeo. There was a whole group of us that went. It was a lot of fun and a great concert. Here are a few pictures from the concert last night.

For those that want a baby update...I go in for my next ultrasound on Sept. 11 so hopefully the little one will cooperate so we can tell if we have a boy or girl.
